Serafina Alberici (Pugliese)

Serafina Alberici, 98, of Philadelphia and most recently of Brookdale at Northampton died on Thursday, May 16, 2019.

Born in Philadelphia, Serafina was the beloved wife of the late Harry A. Alberici, daughter of the late Sebastiano and Serafina Pulgiese Finocchiaro. S

he was predeceased by her brothers and sisters-in-law and sisters and brother-in-law: Rosario Finocchiaro and his wife Judy, Peter Finocchiaro, Paul Finocchiaro and his wife Mary, Isadore Finocchiaro and his wife Margaret and Verna Hill and her husband Bob, and Mary Finocchiaro.

Serafina was a resident of South Philadelphia for many years before moving to Chestnut Hill. She worked in the garment industry as a seamstress making clothing for the Army during the war; she loved to cook and enjoyed crocheting. Serafina will be sadly missed by her devoted and loving family. She is survived by her 2 sisters; Nicolina Andrews (late Peter) of Wilkes Barre and Josephine Kolp and her husband Frank of Furlong.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and by great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Saturday June 29, 2019 at 11:00am in the Chapel of St. Louise de Marillac at St. Vincent de Paul Church 654 Hatboro Rd. Richboro, PA 18954. Interment will be private.
