Gail M. Mohr (McFadden)

Gail M. Mohr, of Ivyland, died peacefully on Friday, February 15, 2019, at Christ's Home Retirement Community. She was 84.

She was the wife of the late Ronald J. Mohr.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Bruce and Marie (Steinman) McFadden.

Gail grew up in Jenkintown and after the passing of her father moved to Hatboro and graduated from Abington High School in 1952.  She married in 1954 and soon moved to Ivyland where she raised her loving daughters. She worked for many years with Hallmark in Horsham before taking a job with Penn America Insurance in Hatboro where she worked for over 10 years before retiring in 2006.

Gail loved her dogs, Disney, the Philadelphia Phillies and traveling. Dogs were always in her life and the Golden Retriever was by far her favorite. During the summers it was Phillies baseball all the time. It was rare that she would miss watching the Phillies games and on the occasional sleepless night you might find her back in front of the TV, re-watching the game she saw earlier in the day.

Her travel was extensive in her younger years and included international and exotic destinations like Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and twice to Africa as well as multiple trips to Disney World.

She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Campbell and her husband Gary of Hatboro and Diane Turing and her husband Albert of Bensalem. She is also survived by her 3 granddaughters, Connie and her husband Christopher, Jaimie and her husband Rob and Kimberly and her husband William and her 3 great-granddaughters; Ella, Avery and Kailey.

Her family will receive relatives and friends from 11:30 am until her Funeral Service at 12:30pm on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown Richboro Road, (at Holland Rd) Richboro, PA 18954. Her interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Bucks County SPCA, P.O. Box 277, Lahaska, PA 18931 or to the Philadelphia Zoo, 3400 West Girard Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19104.
