Thomas James McCarthy

Thomas James “T.J.” McCarthy passed away on Monday, February 11, 2019 at Abington-Jefferson Health Hospital with his family by his side.  He was 27. 

Born in Abington, PA, he was a son of Daniel and Jodi Anastasia McCarthy. 

TJ was a graduate of Central Bucks High School South Class of 2010 and also Penn State University, Smeal College of Business, Class of 2014. He was an account executive with BP Environment and in his leisure time, he was a huge Liverpool Soccer fan. TJ enjoyed traveling and spending quality time with his family and friends and will be deeply missed by all.

In addition to his parents, TJ is survived by his brothers, Danny (Faith) and Stephen McCarthy, his sister Kaitlyn McCarthy, his nephew Danny and his nieces Jupiter and Evelyn, his paternal grandparents James and Joan McCarthy and his maternal grandparents Thomas and Teresa Anastasia and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother MaryRose Anastasia.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday, February 14, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 E. Butler Ave., (at Sandy Ridge Road) New Britain, PA 18901 and are invited to participate in his Funeral Mass on Friday, February 15, 2019  at 11:00 AM at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 856 Euclid Ave., Warrington, PA 18976.  His interment will follow in Doylestown Cemetery, Doylestown. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
