Walter E. Konschak

Walter E. Konschak of Southampton died peacefully at his home on Wednesday, October 17, 2018. He was 75.

Born in Philadelphia, Walter was a resident of Southampton for the past 27 years.

Walter was the beloved husband to Suzanne P. Anderson Konschak for the past 28 years, the son of the late Richard and Agnes Hinger Konschak and brother of the late Robert Konschak.

Walter was a graduate of Bensalem High School, class of 1960. He worked as a meat cutter and Meat Manager for Holiday-Thriftway Markets for over 46 years. Walter had a lot of hobbies; he enjoyed working around his home, gardening and growing tomatoes in his garden. He was an accomplished woodworker and looked forward to going to Antique Car Shows. He was a long-time member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Southampton. Walter will be remembered for his gracious smile and warm and caring ways.

In addition to his beloved wife Suzanne, Walter is survived by his children and their spouses; Kimberly Buch and her husband H L Buch, Connie Krepich and her husband Mike, Kristine Williams and her husband John, Carole Anne Baisden and her husband Frank, and Patricia Konschak. Walter is also survived by his sister Evelyn Pagliacetti and her husband Michael, his sister-in-law Eileen Konschak and his 10 cherished grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Monday, October 22, 2018, from 9:00am until 10:45am; followed by his Funeral Service, 11:00am in the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 877 Street Road, Southampton, PA 18966. Walter’s interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery, Philadelphia.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, at the above address, or to the American Cancer Society, 1620 Locust St., Philadelphia, PA 19103.
