Lorraine Wisneski (Logan)

Lorraine V. Wisneski (nee Logan) 

Lorraine V. Wisneski, of Warminster, died peacefully in the loving arms of her daughter on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at Carole’s home in Holland. She was 92.

Born in Philadelphia, Lorraine was the daughter of the late John P. and Lillian Seierup Logan. She was the devoted and treasured wife of the late Robert S. Wisneski.

Lorraine attended St. Stephen’s Parochial School and Little Flower High School. Her first job was with PTC which she left to raise four children. She later worked as a Credit Supervisor, A Tour Guide at the Moravian Tile Works and a Bookkeeper for the County of Bucks.’

Her greatest joy was her children, dear sons-in-law and grandchildren: Susan L. Salvage (Dr. Robert), Carole W. Murphy (Robert), Nanci L. Larrick (Kevin) and Robert S. Wisneski (late Mary); her grandsons Dr. John J. Pearce and Colin W. Murphy who added so much caring and love to her life.

She is survived by her dear friend of many years, Mary Frain and the Conway families. She was preceded in death by her devoted friend Frank Gillespie.

She enjoyed traveling, playing scrabble and listening to Irish music. She volunteered at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, when her husband was transferred there after her children were raised. She was a former member of the Upper Moreland Senior Center and TLA.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewings Friday evening October 12th from 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm at Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd (at Holland Rd) and on Saturday October 13th from  9:00 am until her Funeral Mass 10:30am  at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Rd, Holland. Interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.

 

Contributions in her memory may be paid to Holy Spirit, Pink Sisters of Adoration, 2212 Green St, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
