Stephen J. Cseplo

Stephen J. Cseplo of Churchville died peacefully on Monday, April 16, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 88. 

Stephen was the beloved husband to the late Dolores J. Cseplo.

He will be deeply missed as a father, grandfather, and friend.  Stephen is survived by his children, Mark Cseplo and his wife Donna Marie McElroy of Egg Harbor Township, NJ; Paul Cseplo of Churchville; Theresa Flood and her husband Edward Jr. of Bensalem; Anthony Cseplo of Churchville; Stephen Cseplo and his wife Susan of Cumming, GA; Katherine Cseplo Krol of Churchville and Michael Cseplo and his wife Gretchen of Ewing, NJ. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren:  Matthew, Brook, Taylor, Stephen and Ethan and his family in Slovakia where he was born. 

Stephen was a former resident of Philadelphia before moving to Churchville in 1978. He had a distinguished career as a City Planner with the Philadelphia School Board until his retirement.  Stephen kept busy after he retired, working at Schlupp’s maintenance with his life-long friend Ronald Schlupp, volunteering at St. Mary Medical Center, singing in the church choir, and donating his time and money to multiple charities.  Stephen was a proud veteran of the US Army and was a faithful daily communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church in Richboro.  

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Saturday April 28th, from 12:00pm to 1:30pm, followed his Funeral Mass at 130pm, in St. Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Road, Richboro, PA 18954.

The interment for Stephen will be held at a future date at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery in Langhorne. 

 In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution in Stephen’s memory, to Life St. Mary, 2500 Northgate Road, Trevose, PA 19053.
