Elsie Brooks (Davies)

 Elsie Mae Davies Brooks, died Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at home, surrounded by her family. She was 76 years old.

She was the beloved wife, of 53 years, of Ray Brooks.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Jeannette (Smith) and Charles Davies. Upon Jeannette’s death soon after Elsie’s birth, she was raised by her father and the late Edith Peterson Davies.

In addition to her loving husband, Ray, Elsie is survived by her children and their spouses, Sharon and Vince Robbins, Dave and Lisa Brooks and Joanne and Chris O’Brien; she will be missed greatly by her grandchildren, Glen Miller; Jeffrey, Jeremy and Landon Brooks;  andTyler and Paige O’Brien.

Elsie’s family will receive condolences on Monday, September 25, 2017 from 12:00pm until the start of her funeral service, 1:00pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr, III Funeral Home, 241 E. Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Elsie’s memory may be made to the River of Life Church, 3434 Durham Rd. Doylestown, PA 18902.
