Donna C. Fei (Barder)

Donna C. Fei of Bensalem passed away peacefully on Friday September 15, 2017 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital after a hard fought battle surrounded by her loving family.  She was 77.

Donna was the beloved wife of Walter H. Fei with whom she would have celebrated 50 years of marriage in October of this year.

Donna was born in Lykens, PA and was the daughter of the late Rudolph E. and Avril Erdman Barder. She grew up in Philadelphia, PA.

Through friends of her parents, Donna met the love of her life Walter.  She fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming a mother when she had her daughter in 1971.  She was a dedicated wife and mother and greatly enjoyed taking care of, and spending time with, her family.  Donna loved shopping, movies, art, traveling and attending Broadway shows with her husband and daughter.

In addition to her husband, Donna is survived by her daughter, Karen A. Fei;  her brother, Ronald E. Barder(Nancy), her sister, Beverly Ann Chiodo as well as eight nieces and nephews, her cherished aunt Lorraine Mauer, and her cousins whom she adored.

Karen and Walter loved her beyond measure and she will be missed by all that knew her and enjoyed her infectious smile.

Donna’s family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 10:00 AM until her Funeral Service 11:00 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro, PA 18954.  Her interment will follow in Newtown Cemetery, Newtown.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Donna’s name to Holy Family University, Attn:  Development Office, 9801 Frankford Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19114.
