Margaret M. Ragan (Scully)

Margaret M. Ragan of Hatboro passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Luther Woods Nursing and Convalescent Center in Hatboro surrounded by her loving family. She was 96.

Margaret was the beloved wife of the late Horace (Tim) Ragan.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of Patrick and Sarah Dunn Scully.

After their marriage in 1941 she and Tim lived and raised their family in Hatboro.  They spent their retirement years in Mattituck, New York before she moved to Luther Woods in Hatboro in 2007. She was a  Communications Supervisor with Fisher and Porter Company and retired after 25 years.   Margaret enjoyed cooking, knitting, reading and was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Margaret is survived by her children, Patricia S. Kivlin and her husband, David, of Ivyland, Eileen M. Talbot of Mattituck NY, Michael J. Ragan and his wife, Louise, of Warrington, and her 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday July 12th from 9:30am until her Funeral Mass at 10:30 am at St. John Bosco Church, 235 East County Line Road, Hatboro, PA 19040. Margaret’s interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Cheltenham.
