Mary Meszaros (Kilkenny) Service Information

Mary Frances Meszaros of Doylestown, PA died peacefully on Tuesday May 23, 2017 at Wesley Enhanced Living of Doylestown. She was 91.

Mary was the beloved wife of 71 years to Frank Meszaros.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Kate Rush Kilkenny.

Mary was a former resident of Elkins Park before moving to Chalfont in 1989. She was a “sharp merchandiser” who was the former owner of  Charm Hosiery Inc. in Philadelphia. Eventually, Mary pursued a successful career as a Commercial Buyer with Wanamaker’s in Philadelphia and Allen’s of Germantown. In later years, she continued her career as a state service job counselor with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Mary was a communicant of St. Jude Church in Chalfont and in her leisure time, she was an avid gardener and truly had a green thumb growing her vegetables and flowers. In her earlier years, she was an accomplished ball room dancer and also would enjoy listening to big band music.  Mary will be deeply missed by her family and by all who came to know her.

In addition to her beloved husband Frank, Mary is survived by her loving daughters; MaryBeth Meszaros and her husband David and Marjorie M. Szakacs and her husband Steve.  She is also survived by her sister Annabelle Kilkenny McKeever of Boca Raton, FL and her 4 precious grandchildren, Brian, Anthony, Marty and Danny.

Mary’s family will receive friends on Saturday, May 27^th from 10:00am until her Funeral Mass 11:00am in St. Jude Church, 321 W. Butler Avenue, Chalfont, PA 18914. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery in Doylestown.

In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Church.
